Our department treats various types of brain tumors and cerebrovascular disorders (stroke) such as subarachnoid hemorrhage. Additionally, surgeries related to functional disorders such as facial spasms and pain arising from glossopharyngeal neuralgia will be available.

Highlights of the department

• Examination and treatment will be offered focusing mainly on the following areas
  • Medical and surgical treatment for strokes
  • Surgical treatment for brain tumors
  • Functional surgeries (epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, hemi-facial spasm, trigeminal neuralgia and glossopharyngeal neuralgia)
  • Head trauma and normal pressure hydrocephalus
• We accept emergency patients

• Minimally invasive cerebrovascular surgery (Interventional Radiology: IVR)
  • Coil embolization for cerebral aneurysms
  • Stent treatment for cerebrovascular stenosis, etc.
