Comprehensive treatment will be given in cooperation with the cardiology and vascular surgery departments.
A wide range of surgeries are available, from coronary artery bypass grafting to surgery for an adult with congenital heart disease.
Highlights of the department
- Aims to provide surgeries free from complications with minimal stress to patients enabling them to lead a healthy life after treatment.
They include the following:- Off-pump coronary artery bypass
- Valvuloplasty, valve replacement and valve preserving surgery
- Minimally invasive surgery will be provided to support patients earliest recovery
- MICS valvular disease surgery using three dimensional endoscope to minimize the size of the scar
- Either stent graft or synthetic blood vessel graft will be chosen for treating thoracic aortic aneurysm, depending on the diagnosis and condition of the patient
- Aims to facilitate early recovery of patients while preventing complications. Rehabilitation will start from the day after surgery in cooperation with the Rehabilitation Department.
