Obstetrics and Gynecology

Consultation is offered for female-specific diseases, female genital tumors and in the field of reproductive medicine such as pregnancy and delivery.

Treats all types of pregnancies ranging from low to high risk pregnancies
- Newborn illnesses predicted by prenatal diagnosis will be treated in coordination with the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), pediatrics and pediatric surgery departments.
- Maternal complications will be treated by various internal medicine and surgical departments. For psychiatric disorders related to pregnancy, psychological support including postpartum care will be offered for expectant and nursing mothers, in coordination with psychiatrists.
Fetal ultrasound screening is conducted by skilled physicians.
- At the Midwife outpatient clinic, pregnancy examination will be conducted several times and opportunities to ask questions will be provided.
We strive to create a comfortable environment for expectant mothers during pregnancy and the delivery process.

Comprehensive treatment combining surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy will be offered in cases of invasive cancer whether primary or recurrent.
Laparoscopic surgery for early stage cancer will be offered by several specialists of gynecological tumors and certified physicians of laparoscopic surgery.
Conservative treatment will be proactively offered for juvenile cervical, endometrial and ovarian cancers. Physicians with vast experience will offer high dose progesterone therapy for the purpose of preservation of fertility, especially for endometrial cancer patients.
Treatment plan, either pharmacotherapy or laparoscopic surgery for benign uterine myomas, adenomyosis, endometriosis and ovarian cysts are tailored to fit individual patient needs.
Individual treatment plans including hormone replacement therapy will be discussed for diseases affecting female lifestyle such as climacteric disorders.
