Offers diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer. Specialist physicians with vast experience in breast cancer treatment will offer high quality medical treatment, starting from diagnosis and treatment to follow-us post-surgery.

For breast cancer surgery, cosmetic appearance of the breast is carefully considered while excising cancer completely. Normally, breast preservation therapy will be performed for smaller tumors. For surgeries of larger tumors, preservation therapy will be performed after minimizing the size of the tumor. Breast reconstruction surgery will be offered in coordination with Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department in cases where preservation of breasts is not possible and there is no choice other than total excision.

Personalized treatment

The diagnosis of breast cancer will be confirmed upon reception of histopathology results. Then, research will be conducted to identify the character of the breast cancer (hormone receptor, HER2 protein expression, proliferation capability and etc). and systemic therapies, which are highly effective, will be offered.

Sentinel lymph node biopsy

The lymph node in the axilla will be examined during the surgery. Further excision of the lymph nodes will not be performed unless metastasis to the lymph nodes is observed.
