Specialized and comprehensive examinations and treatments for lung cancer and pulmonary diseases in general of various stages ranging from acute to chronic whilst working in close coordination with the Thoracic Surgery Department.

Highlights of the department

• Provides a wide range of treatments from general treatments for acute and chronic pulmonary diseases, advanced treatments as well as treatments for terminal illness
• Strives to deliver accurate examination using the best and the latest methods of bronchoscopy, which is an important tool
• For lung cancer, appropriate treatments will be offered based on the results of histological diagnosis and gene mutation testing
• Pulmonary rehabilitation is mandatory for pulmonary diseases. This strives to improve patients’ physical health together with pulmonary rehabilitation specialists
• If a shadow is discovered during a chest CT, appropriate advice will be offered. Treatment will be given in coordination with Thoracic Surgery Department
• The majority of our physicians are able to offer consultations in English
