Visiting Inpatients
How to visit inpatient at the IUHW Narita Hospital
If you wish to visit an inpatient, please go to the 1st floor Information Corner (or the After-Hours Reception (South Entrance) on Sundays and holidays).
Visiting Guidelines
- Visiting hours are from 13:00 to 19:00.
- Visits are limited to family members and relatives, and last for about 30 minutes.
(Please refrain from visiting in large groups.) - ICU/HCU visits are limited to 15 minutes once a day for up to 4 people
- Visiting in a 4-person room is not allowed. Please meet in patients in “Day Room” instead.
- Please be aware that there may be a wait after 5:30 PM, as staff will be handling night shift duties.
- Visits by children under 12 years old are generally prohibited.
- Only private rooms and those who can take care of their own flowers are allowed to bring in fresh flowers except for flowerpots. In Ward 7D, 4-person rooms, and those with immunodeficiency are prohibited from bringing in all any flowers.
- Please refrain from visiting inpatients if you are even slightly ill.
- Please wear a non-woven mask at all times and sanitize your hands.
- If you wish to visit on Sundays or holidays, please go to the “After Hours Reception” (South Entrance).
Precautions
- If you live with someone or have friends who have tested positive for COVID-19, you will not be permitted to visit.
- If you find out that you have been infected with COVID-19 after visiting the hospital, please contact us as soon as possible.
- Please note that we may limit the number of visitors due to the spread of infection, the patient's physical condition, or other unavoidable reasons. Please understand this in advance.
